The three-year-old Hellbent filly Benedetta is on a fast track to stakes company after walloping a handy field of fillies in the Thoroughbred Club Australia (Bm64) over 1300m at Sandown-Hillside on Wednesday.
A Breenet One To Watch following her win last start win at Cranbourne, the Jason Warren-trained filly finished full of running under Daniel Stackhouse to defeat Discerning (Street Boss) by two and a quarter length, with the same distance back to Freeways (Epaulette) in third.
Another super dominant display by the #MillParkRaised & @inglis_sales Premier sold Benedetta, with the @WarrenRacing trained 3yo daughter of @yarramanpark's Hellbent pulling away for a decisive two plus length win for @EalesRacingSyn.@anz_news @TDNAusNZ @SAbreeders @henrydwyer pic.twitter.com/wYyCcjPK7y

Benedetta is unlucky not to have a perfect record. At her debut at Moe on December 9, the daughter of Hellbent rattled home for a luckless third.
Sporting the colours of Laurence Eales, Benedetta was a $75,000 purchase for Eales Racing Syndications from the Mill Park draft at the 2021 Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
Bred by Brenton and Liz Parker, Benedetta is a half-sister to Group II-placed Whatafox (Foxwedge).
Her 3-time winning dam Whatalovelyday placed third in the Group II BRC The Roses at Doomben, won by Bohemian Lily.
The current yearling from the mare, a colt by Rubick, sold at the recent Magic Millions yearling sale to Henry Dwyer Racing for $130,000, in what looks like a bargain purchase.
