Significant Pedigree Updates:

A son of Swettenham Stud’s Toronado (IRE), the sire of 90 stakes performers led by six G1 winners including Masked Crusader, Mariamia and Shelby Sixtysix, this colt is the second foal out of the imported French mare Salmah, a Shalaa half-sister to the multiple Listed winner Tuned, himself a son of Toronado.

The first foal out of Salmah, named Rakan (Mehmas) is in the stable of Dominic Sutton and had his first public jumpout recently, finishing third over 800m at Flemington.

From very limited representation to date, Shalaa as a broodmare sire has recorded nine winners from 22 runners highlighted by the stakes performed Polly Shelby as well as the G2 fourth placed Autumn Blonde.
