One of just three colts in the sale by the exciting Queensland based sire Spirit of Boom, the sire of 20 stakes performers including Group 3 winners Boomsara and Spirits Aubeer – The Hulk (HK), Lot 27 is a bay colt out of the 1100m-winning Fastnet Rock mare Fast And Loose, a half-sister to the Mill Park raised and sold Catapulted, a winner of 12 races including the Group 2 QTC Cup.

Fastnet Rock as a broodmare sire has been represented by 88 stakes performers including Group 1 winners Santa Ana Lane, Tivaci and Gytrash – all colts, in fact colts out of Fastnet Rock mares have a significantly higher winning percentage than the fillies do.

The current 2yo out of the mare, a gelding by Shooting To Win is part of the Ellerton Zahra stable and has been named Shootoose after having been part of our 2020 Inglis Premier draft.
